SHIPPING

 At Warrior Planted Tanks everyone is family, this is why all orders over $75 will have guaranteed free shipping! All other orders will have a set shipping price of $15 (no calculations, no hidden fees, etc. 15 BUCKS that’s it, anywhere in the country!) regardless of where you are located! Our plants ship on Wednesdays and Fridays, excluding holidays. Orders placed after 5 PM Eastern Standard Time will be fulfilled on next shipping day (i.e. orders placed after 5 PM Wednesday, will be shipped on Friday and vice versa). We are able to ship to the Lower 48 States, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. (Unfortunately due to restrictions we are unable to ship LIVE PLANTS to Hawaii or Canada). However we are able to send merchandise to these locations.
Please make sure your shipping address is correct prior to placing an order as we will not be held responsible for damages, or lost of items due to undeliverable or incomplete delivery.
Furthermore, damaged, or lost packages, that are mishandled by the United States Postal Service (USPS), or any other courier service provider is not our responsibility.
**Please note that some plants we carry may be considered federal or state noxious weeds. It is the CUSTOMER’s responsibility to check with their own state rules and regulations before ordering (you can check the list here).

RETURNS

Warrior Planted Tanks reserves the right to provide solutions deemed fit pertaining to each inquiry. Un perishable items (i.e. merch) are able to be returned (7 days after receiving item) in exchange store credit (minus shipping), as long as items are unused and undamaged while in recipients’ possession. Buyer(s) will be responsible will for return shipping fees. We are unable to accept returns for perishable items such as plants.  However, feel free to reach out to us if you are unsatisfied in any way.

REFUNDS

Unfortunately due to the perishable nature of the products involved, we cannot offer refunds. Although we do understand that sometimes things happen, and we are willing to help you in any way we can, within reason, to ensure quality customer service.

DO YOUR PLANTS HAVE SNAILS?

We sell our plants bare root to reduce the chances of snails and other foreign matter. However, Snails are a natural part of the environment and are inevitable when dealing with live aquatic plants.

HOW DO I PREPARE PLANTS?

Since the majority of plants that I sell are bare root, preparation is minimal because I have done most of the work for you. Although similar, different varieties of plants may require more, or less, preparation. I will briefly outline the types of preparation for you here.

  • Stem plants: Will be sold in leaded or unleaded bunches. To prep simply remove lead strip strip or binding device, and separate stems. Depending on root length trim at 1/8th an 1/4th”. Arrange in tank as desired using pincets or forceps. (you can use your fingers too!) Leaded bundles may also be left whole, and planted in bunch form with leaded strip.
  • Whole plants: (i.e. swords, crypts, etc…) Need to be trimmed 1/8 to 1/4th” from tip of root, and placed into substrate taking care not to bury the crown.
  • Rhizome plants: (Java fern , Anubias, Buce etc..) do not necessarily require a root trim, however you may trim if you feel it necessary  for aesthetics. attach these plants to hard scape with thread or glue and take extra care not to bury the rhizome. The rhizome of these plants MUST BE above the substrate at all times or rot will ensue causing the loss of your plant.
